Solution:

This problem can be easily solved by following the order of operations. Let’s tackle the exponents first.

0.1^2 = 0.1 x 0.1 = 0.01

0.1^3 = 0.1 x 0.1 x 0.1 = 0.001

So now we can add together 0.1 + 0.01 + 0.001. When adding we want to ensure that we line up the decimal points.

Answer: B
